The Anderson University men's basketball team set a new scoring record in a single game during their 117-109 double overtime victory against a very talented and deep Carson Newman team. The Trojan's improved to 3-3 with the win. Five players scored in double figures led by Freshman Nick Trull's 30 points on 11-19 shooting from the field and 6-10 from behind the three point line. Anderson, 3-3 overall, led 47-42 at the half and led by 10 points twice and 11 points once in the second half. Kevis Cornwell and Jarret Johnson added 18 points apiece for the Trojans, Young finished with 17, and Britton tallied 11. Young played all 50 minutes for Anderson.
